Since October last year, we have been starting to conduct a lot of online event which collaborate with many organization and local community in Indonesia. If you were one of the participants who join our previous event, then this blog is good for you to know more about one of our partners contributing to protect the forest in Indonesia.
Then, let's get to know to our partner, Hutan Itu Indonesia (HII)! 🤓
HII is a youth movement carrying out campaigns to love the forest by spreading positive messages that Indonesia's forests are great and really amazing! It's a treasure for incredible wildlife! Through a creative, fun and collaborative way, HII believes that everyone can take in charge to protect Indonesia's forests. They specifically want to spread this movement for youth living in urban area to feel connected to the forest by using music, sports and storytelling. Their ability to adapt with the current culture without neglecting their own vision is paying my attention. For example, they held a music concert called Musika Foresta, Kalori ke Hutan where people can participate on sports while adopting forests / trees, and usually they manage to have a trip to forest which deliver the output by storytelling in videos or books. Cool, right? 😎

In 5 years, HII aim to increase the awareness of youth to love and protect the forest. Our forest in Indonesia is one of the greatest biodiversities spot on Earth. Indonesia is home to 10% to 15% of all known plants, mammals and birds on the planet. Hoping we can work hand in hand to protect our environment.
