The students learned a lot about bamboo since the buildings of Green School are basically made of Bamboo. Yuki, one of the participant said that “The first impression was too shocking, and I was moved to tears and I really wanted to go to a school like this!”

Talking with farmers

The students got a chance to meet our farmers in Jembrana, Bali. They met with Pak Cakra – the coffee farmer after driving approximately for 3 hours. Pak Cakra is one of the greatest farmers that we ever met. He can explain about the effect of climate change to the coffee farm very well. Kenta, the participants of ACT U20 program was also really grateful because it was the first time he knew about the types of coffee and the process of making chocolate.
