Did you know? su-re.co has held 3 workshops on bioenergy and found that the key finding of biogas is it is too expensive. Moreover, we also found a fact that 60% of biogas in Bali are unused. Since that, su-re.co tries to develop a removable and affordable biogas digester.
Working together with the national government
30% Indonesian are farmers and most of them do not have access to clean energy. To provide clean energy for farmers, su-re.co works together with local, national and international organizations. On July 5, 2019, su-re.co that was represented by its CEO, Prof. Dr Takeshi Takama and its partner from Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) met with Director of Energy of State Ministry for Development Planning ( Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional) to discuss future bioenergy in Indonesia.
Message from society
Two days after meeting with the government, on July 7, 2019, su-re.co joined a Sunday Market that was organized by our partner in Born Bright Bali. su-re.co team that consisted of staff and interns opened a booth and displayed su-re.co products like su-re.coffee, su-re.cocoa and biogas digester. This event was giving su-re.co a great opportunity to share the story of su-re.co project. Once su-re.co’s product is purchased, the buyer is directly contributing to providing farmers with better access to clean energy.
