At su-re.co, we are committed to expanding our sustainability training programs in collaboration with schools, local communities, and international organisations. Our training and events aim to provide participants with hands-on experiences and insights into pressing global sustainability issues, with a particular focus on Indonesia. These activities include interactive knowledge-sharing sessions and real-world applications of sustainability-related technologies and projects. 

 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives in an independent work environment and is excited to be based in Bali, contributing to meaningful sustainability initiatives. 

  

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manage and coordinate educational programs for high school and university students from outside Indonesia, primarily from Japan, with a focus on sustainability. 

• Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, maintaining correspondence, and contributing to progress and evaluation reports for educational activities. 

• Facilitate and organize field visits to farmers, local NGOs, and sustainable tourism or environmental sites, ensuring an impactful and smooth experience for participants. 

• Act as the main liaison between su-re.co (Research, Business, Engineering, and Training Teams), students, local and national stakeholders, companies, and communities, bridging various activities. 

• Assist in designing and producing communication materials for promotion, program coordination, and participant engagement. 

• Provide hospitality-related support during educational programs, ensuring students feel welcome and their needs are met. 

• Perform other relevant duties that align with the organization’s mission and educational program goals. 

 

Requirements: 

• Hold a bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, education, management, social science, or a related field. 

• Have experience in managing educational programs, training, event management, or working on environmental or sustainability projects, particularly in Bali. 

• A strong passion for sustainability and a keen interest in sustainable tourism or environmental tourism. 

• Willing to relocate to Bali and be based there, with the flexibility to travel around Bali Island for program activities. 

• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is required. Proficiency in Balinese and/or Japanese would be a significant asset. 

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a genuine interest in engaging with students, NGOs, government officials, and local communities in a multicultural environment. 

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects involving field visits, administration, and communication processes with tact and efficiency. 

• Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.  

• A collaborative attitude and the ability to balance hospitality with the program’s sustainability goals.
