We are looking for interns to support the project on developing a bioenergy system. The project’s objective is to encourage local farmers to become self-sufficient by enabling them to use biogas for crops production. The biogas digester aims to enable sustainable rural socio-economic opportunities in Bali. The project combines adaptation and mitigation measures for climate change with an ambition to set an example for an alternative strategy to alleviate poverty in rural areas across Indonesia.


  • Contribute to the development of a portable biogas digester bag and improving the biogas system

  • Familiarizing farmers with the potential of biogas and incentivize biogas utilization

  • Promoting the project by attending conferences, and delivering presentations at events

  • Identify, qualify and seek out all appropriate opportunities

  • Improve our in-depth understanding of the local environment


  • You are studying Biology or have graduated with a Bachelor in Biology – Environmental Studies – Green Energy

  • Good level of English

  • Ease of adaptation: ability to work in a multicultural environment

  • Creative, flexible, proactive, taking initiative

  • Interest in Environmental issues, Renewable Energy, Green Economy
